FilesManager.online provides support by email. Write to Support@FilesManager.online if you have a question about the File Manager tool, Folder Merger, browser compatibility, privacy, accessibility, or an article on the site.
There is no contact form or account portal. Using a direct email link keeps the support process clear and avoids collecting messages in a separate website database. Your email provider and our email provider will process the information you choose to send.
Reporting a tool problem
For a technical problem, include enough context to reproduce the behavior without sending private files or a complete folder listing. Useful details include:
- The browser name and full version.
- The operating system and version.
- Whether you used File Manager or Folder Merger.
- The comparison, reconciliation, merge, or conflict mode selected.
- The stage where the problem occurred: folder selection, scanning, preview, approval, copying, verification, or report export.
- The exact on-screen error message.
- Whether the issue also occurs with small disposable test folders.
If you can reproduce a problem with synthetic files, describe that small example. For instance, “Folder A contained example.txt, Folder B was empty, and Update Destination stopped after approval” is more useful and safer than attaching a personal archive.
Protect your privacy when asking for help
Do not email confidential documents, personal photos, credentials, recovery keys, financial records, medical files, client data, or other sensitive file contents. Support does not need access to your real folders to understand most problems.
File and folder names can also reveal private information. Before copying an activity report into an email, inspect it and remove names, paths, device labels, or error details you do not want to disclose. The report is generated locally and downloaded only when you request it; sending it by email is a separate choice made by you.
FilesManager.online staff will never need your computer password, browser profile, cloud credentials, or remote-control access to investigate an ordinary issue. Do not share passwords or one-time codes.
Folder selection and permission questions
The browser controls the native folder picker and permission prompts. The website receives a handle only after you choose a folder. If the picker does not open, write permission is denied, or a previously selected folder becomes unavailable, first confirm that you are using the site over HTTPS or localhost in a compatible desktop browser.
Permission behavior can vary by browser version, operating system, and storage type. Include those details when asking for help. If possible, try a new disposable folder on local storage. That can distinguish a general compatibility problem from a limitation involving a protected location, external device, or network-mounted folder.
File-operation questions
Before reporting an incorrect preview, check the selected folder direction and active filters. In File Manager, Folder A is normally the source for Update Destination and Mirror A to B. A size, date, extension, or path exclusion can intentionally hide files from the eligible scope. Smart Compare may accept matching metadata as a likely match, while Exact Content Compare reads corresponding bytes.
For Folder Merger, include whether you selected Preserve Folder Structure or Flatten Into One Folder. Flattening sends files from different source paths into one destination namespace and therefore creates more name conflicts. Source order also matters for Replace behavior because the top source has priority.
Do not run another destructive operation merely to reproduce a problem. Use copies of disposable test data. Keep original sources and independent backups until you have reviewed the destination.
Content, accessibility, and SEO corrections
Corrections to an article or interface are welcome. Please identify the page URL, quote the short passage or label involved, and explain what appears inaccurate or unclear. For accessibility issues, include the assistive technology and interaction method when relevant, such as keyboard navigation, screen reader, zoom level, or reduced-motion preference.
If you report a broken internal link, missing metadata, or outdated technical reference, provide the source page and the link text. We can investigate without requiring access to your files.
Security reports
If you believe you found a security issue, email Support@FilesManager.online with a concise description, affected route, browser details, and safe reproduction steps. Do not access another person's data, perform destructive testing, or include exploit code that targets systems beyond your own authorized environment.
Please avoid publishing sensitive details before there has been a reasonable opportunity to review the report. We do not offer a paid bug-bounty program unless one is explicitly announced on this website.
What to expect
Messages are reviewed as availability permits. A response time is not guaranteed, and some questions may require more information or a reproducible test case. Support cannot recover deleted files, reverse completed writes, decide which conflicting document is correct, or provide remote data-recovery services.
